The best part of my stay was the amazing staff, especially Diletta. She has a truly great personality—humble, kind, sensitive with customers, and very mature. She is highly knowledgeable and speaks English very well, which makes communication easy and comfortable. I really appreciate how she took care of guests; she is very special and such a valuable part of this hostel. Diletta makes the place feel welcoming and professional at the same time, and I believe she is perfect for this job. I also want to mention Matilde, who was very nice and had a friendly attitude. Thanks to both of them, my stay felt even more enjoyable. We had a twin room which was rather spacious, very clean, big private bathroom with shower. The hostel is opposite the Campo di Marti train station so very handy to get into town, 5-6 minutes on the regional train, 1.60euros single as of September 2025. Walk to the nearest Lidl in about 15 mins. Nearest corner shop 2 minutes round the corner, just after a restaurant and a coffee shop which offers cooked food at lunchtime but at night is part of the restaurant. Breakfast was 11euros pp per night, meats, boiled eggs, cereals, bread, pastries, jams, butter, fruit, juices, etc.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and at home. They were friendly, helpful. Special thanks to Matilde for all her help and support— you are a gem!🙏🥰 The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The beds had individual lights and charging points – small touches that make a big difference when you’re traveling. The bathroom was spotless and cleaned. The common areas were cozy and vibrant – perfect for meeting other travelers or relaxing after a long day of exploring. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better.

It's just a standard A&O but still new. If you visit one you already know what to expect from others. Good location if you want to visit other places but not that good if you are interested only of Florence as it's not in the historical centre. Wide showers and wc, comfortable bed, good wifi, enough water, good air-conditioning. It's fine.

I loved the room — it was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, even larger than I expected. The price was very reasonable, and the location is excellent, just a short walk from the station. Overall, it’s a great choice for families. I would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Room was very clean and bathroom excellent. Accommodation has a 'Guest Kitchen' which was well equipped. We were unable to use it as it was fully used by other guests. Well stocked supermarket about 100m away. Directly opposite train station (1.6 Euro's/5 mins to Florence - but trains not always regular/frequent, so need to check timetables carefully). Our room was at rear and was very quiet.

Next to the train station, even not a central. A spacious clean room with a bathroom and two comfortable beds. Superb view over the mountains from the 5 -th floor window. There is a small kitchen for self-catering and cheap luggage lockers. Good train and bus service. Friendly staff. The hotel is one of the best I’ve ever been for the budget travellers. If I go again to Florence, I would like to stay there again.

Very good hostel, a lot comfier than I had expected (worth noting we were in a private room). The beds were comfy too, which is one of the most unexpected things. If you don't want to eat at their restaurant, you can also cook in the kitchen which is at floor -1. The check-in was quick, however the self-check-in as well as their app didn't work, so we had to wait for a while until they finished checking in a big group that came before us. The location is ok, a but far from the centre, but also not too far (about 30min on foot or less by bus, but busses don't go too often). Don't be mistaken that it's conveniently next to the train station, as intercity trains don't seem to go to that station except once or twice a day (early morning and late evening). But you can also take a train to the main station (at the edge of the center), which I think goes every 30-60 min, and it's a short ride (c. 3min).

I appreciated the sturdy bunkbeds with charging stations and storage for little bits, such as books. The mattress was firm and comfortable. And, it was great to have the bathroom in the room. It was a walk to get to the centre of Florence but I actually enjoyed it, as there's a lovely cafe close by on the way to Florence. Although, it's a 20 to 30 min walk to the centre or a 5 to 10 min train ride. It was really close to the station, Firenze Campo di Marte, which is great at night, as a female solo traveller.
